Attendance Matters

Being around teachers and friends in a school environment is the best way for pupils to learn and reach their potential. Time in school also keeps children safe and provides access to extra-curricular opportunities and pastoral care.

Find links to the government campaign on attendance – ‘ Moments Matter, Attendance Counts’. ‘The campaign is targeted at preventable odd days of absence – or “avoidable absence” linked to coughs and colds and mild anxiety.’

Information about the campaign can be found here, with links to how parents, carers and schools can suppoprt one another with pupil attendance.
