The policy in the link below provides the latest information about our admission arrangements.  Please note: our school admissions are administered by the Local Authority’s admissions team. Although our admin team will make every effort to try and deal with admissions queries, there may be times when parents will be signposted to liaise with the Local Authority’s admissions team in order to make / progress an enquiry.  Contact details for the Local Authority’s admissions team can be found within our admission policy.

Making an Application for Admission.

Bolton residents who have registered their child’s details with Bolton Council will be sent an admissions information pack at the end of September. You must wait for this pack before applying as it contains your child’s unique reference number which will enable an on line application to be made.

If you have a child with a date of birth between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019 (inclusive) your child is due to start reception in September 2023. You can apply for a primary school place online at any time from 1st September 2022 to 15th January 2023

The closing date for all applications is 15 January 2023.  If you apply after 15 January 2023 your application will be late and this may affect your outcome.

If you applied online you will receive your offer by email on 16 April 2023.  You will also receive an offer letter by post.  If you have completed a paper preference form your offer letter will be posted on 16 April 2023.  If Bolton Council has not been able to offer you your preferred school you will also receive an appeal form.

Special Educational Needs.

If your child is undergoing a Statutory Assessment you will still need to complete an application for admission. For further advice contact the Inclusion and Statutory Assessment Service on 01204 332207.

Appeals.

If you are not happy with the place you are offered by the Local Authority you can appeal. If you wish to appeal please follow the link in your offer email. Although changes cannot may not be made to your application for a school place once the deadline has passed, you may apply again in August as an in year application. Any new application forms received will cancel any application received previously.
